Nothing makes me more annoyed with some Kagome fans, than saying Kikyo wanted him to change. That she didn’t love him as a half demon. Girl developed feelings for him, whether he was demon or human. She would have supported him if he chose to remain as is, because she valued his feelings and thoughts.

She simply asked him, because she knew how much he suffered. And it was an option for him to finally settle somewhere and for her to be rid of the jewel.

Had he said no? She would have still loved him. She was never biased against his demon side. Kikyou always treated him with kindness , even when he was more antagonistic and blunt. If she truly hated his demon side, she never would have been so kind or gentle. Never would have developed feelings for him.

Kikyou saw his heart. What he was or was not really didn’t matter when it came to her feelings.

I swear some fans just want to find a reason to hate her.

Not to mention people always disregard that Inuyasha, a big back half demon, made the choice too. He is fully capable of thinking himself. No one can force him to do anything he doesn’t want to do.

Kikyou is the type that she doesn't gaf if someone hates her. If she realizes it is pointless talking to someone, she wouldn't waste her breath. Or if she doesn't feel the need to explain herself, she would not waste any energy defending herself. She'd either ignore them or leave.

And honestly? That's such Queen behavior.

The reason I might sometimes prioritize other verses from the main (feudal era) ones, is that Kikyou verse dependent ofc, can be a lot more chaotic, relaxed, colder, sassier, --maybe even a menace to society. She gets to experience and display a wider variety of emotions (other than pain and suffering).
